"Selina"
As a wife back in Bangladesh, Selina was content with her
life. Once she arrived with her husband in America, she
began to notice a change in his attitude. He refused to
let her work for fear that she would become too
modernized, too Americanized. He wanted to suppress her,
to keep her down. As she became aware of her
husbands schemes, she started to rebel, not against
him alone, but against the society structures.
